Two year vandalism in Medford

0908-chad-renickMedford, Ore., — A man whom police say threatened six area businesses by making homicidal and suicidal threats, was arraigned in court today.

Medford Police say 40-year-old Chad Renick of Ashland had been doing that for the past two years, and that he also broke store front windows and spread roofing nails in their parking lots.

“A search warrant at his residence and found not only clothing that he was wearing in some of the surveillance video, but also some of the roofing nails and tacks he was using to put out there” said Medford Police Leiutanant Kevin Walruff.

Renick is charged with ten counts of first degree criminal mischief.

He’s being held on 75-thousand dollars bail.
