Ashland, Ore. — Search crews in Ashland have located a body they believe to be missing runner Todd Ragsdale. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office made the announcement around 2 PM Saturday afternoon.
Sheriff Corey Falls said the body was found by search crews in the Ashland Watershed, and Ragsdale’s family has been notified. The investigation into what happened is ongoing.
“We are in the process right now of recovering the body, and we also have the medical examiner that will be heading en route,” Sheriff Falls said. “We will continue the investigation to find out what happened.”
Sheriff Falls said there is no indication of foul play.
Ragsdale told his wife he was going for a run on Thursday morning. After he wasn’t heard from, search crews were dispatched. Numerous agencies from all over the county assisted in the search, as well as over 150 volunteers.
