UPDATE: Klamathon Fire evacuation information

(Information updated on 7/6/18 at 8:34 p.m.) There are several evacuation notices on the Klamathon Fire in both Northern California and Southern Oregon.

California:

Mandatory Evacuation Notices:

  • The communities of Hornbrook and Hilt
  • Iron Gate Estates; East of railroad tracks to Iron Gate Reservoir
  • From the California state line south to Copco Road

Voluntary Evacuation Notices:

  • Klamath River Estates, east of Black Mountain to Desavado Road
  • South of Copco Road to Ager – Beswick Road
  • East of the Yreka Western Railroad to Iron Gate Reservoir, North to the CA/OR State line
Shelter Information:
Jackson Street Elementary School, 405 Jackson St, Yreka, CA 96097
Large Animal Shelter: Siskiyou County Fairgrounds, 1712 Fairlane Rd, Yreka
Small Animals can be taken to Jackson Street Elementary shelter

Oregon:

Level 3 “Go” / Mandatory Evacuation Notices:

  • The Colstein Valley
  • Colestin Road and Highway 99 from the California border to Mt. Ashland Ski Road.

Level 2 “Be Set” Evacuation warning:

  • Mt. Ashland Ski Road from the Ski Resort to Highway 99
  • Highway 99 from Mt Ashland Ski Road to the 6700-block
