Rowan County, Ky. — A county clerk refuses to issue marriage license to same sex couples. Now, the court says Kim Davis is out of time.

She was ordered to begin offering marriage licenses this morning.

In the two months since the U.S. Supreme Court legalized gay marriage, Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis has refused to issue marriage licenses to anyone.

She now faces lawsuits by four couples. Monday, the supreme court rejected Davis’ request for a stay while the court hears her appeal.

It’s not clear if Davis will continue to defy the law. Her attorney has said she will pray about it.
