Clinton’s big night

NC_dnc120728_700x394(NBC News) Hillary Clinton takes the stage tonight in Philadelphia to close out the Democrats’ convention and make the case herself for why voters should support her over Donald Trump.

This morning, Bernie Sanders urged his people to support Clinton.

“Our job is to elect Hillary Clinton and the day after fight for that agenda,” Sanders said.

Clinton is expected to draw contrasts with Trump and use themes from her book “It Takes A Village.”

Officials are reacting to Trump’s suggestion that Russia should hack Clinton’s deleted emails and today, Trump told Fox News he was just being sarcastic.

“It’s not sarcastic, it’s never a joke, it’s something that we should all take seriously,” Clinton campaign communications director Jen Palmieri said.

Clinton has a tough act to follow after Wednesday night’s speakers, as she closes the deal herself.
