Quebec City, Canada — Police in Canada said that five people are dead in a shooting tonight at a mosque in Quebec City.
Police and ambulances rushed to the Islamic Cultural Center.
Police have confirmed to NBC News that they have suspects in custody. It is being investigated as a possible hate crime.
Wire service reports say the shooting took place around eight p-m during evening prayers, when there were about 40 people inside the mosque.
