French fighter jets launch raid in Syria

FIGHTER

French fighter jets have launched their biggest raids in Syria to date.  The french military today released video of jets taking off.  French defense officials say the planes were targeting the Isis stronghold in Raqqa, Syria. The aerial assaults took place today just two days after the group claimed coordinated attacks in Paris that killed at least 129 people.  The defense ministry said ten fighter jets participated in the raids and twenty bombs were dropped.  The operation was carried out in coordination with US forces. French officials say the attacks struck a command center, recruitment center for jihadists, a munitions depot and a training camp for fighters.
