Kansas — (KSHB) The Centers for Disease Control is investigating a case of E.coli at a Kansas Chipotle restaurant.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment says the case was a resident from Johnson County who visited the Chipotle in Shawnee around November 23rd.
Chipotle customer Sara Matthews says she loves the restaurant because she believes the food is fresher than other fast food options but she still has her concerns.
“It’s concerning,” she said. “Obviously, I don’t want to eat somewhere that could potentially get me sick.”
Four others people have been identified, one in North Dakota and three in Oklahoma, who say they ate at Chipotle the week before they got sick.
