OHSU COVID forecast sees declining cases

PORTLAND, Ore. – As masks are largely disappearing across Oregon a new COVID forecast is coming out from Oregon Health and Science University.

OHSU says hospitalizations due to COVID will continue to decline moving forward. Peter Graven, OHSU’s Director of Advanced Analytics, says the rapid decline in cases reflects a shrinking pool of people susceptible to the virus.

OHSU states it will continue to monitor new cases and potential variants.
