Utah — (KSL) Governor Gary Herbert signed a resolution on Tuesday making Utah the first state in the union to declare pornography a public health crisis. Governor Herbert was clear that the new measure is not a ban on pornography.
The bill’s sponsor, state senator Todd Weiler, R-Woods Cross, said that the law is not supposed to impede free speech.

Experts say the measure is unenforceable, but proponents insist the true purpose is to bring awareness to an epidemic.
