Wayward goat found wandering Northern California Starbucks

0411 goat 02 0411 goat 01 Rohnert Park, Calif. — Police say an unlikely character was taken into custody after wandering into a Northern California Starbucks.

A wayward goat was spotted, possibly trying to get a caffeine fix, early Sunday morning.

According to police, employees who were opening the Starbucks tried to give the goat a banana, but it kept walking into the shop and started chewing on a box.

Officers were quickly able to take the coffee-craving goat into custody in a dog’s crate.

Police say the goat was taken to a nearby animal shelter, and was picked up by the owner later that day. The goat, named Millie, apparently didn’t travel far, as she apparently lives around the corner from the shop.
