Wisconsin deputy cleared in fatal shooting

NC_stungunshooting0708_1500x845Eau Claire, Wis. (WEAU) — A Wisconsin deputy who shot and killed suspect David Mack in April was cleared of wrongdoing Friday after District Attorney Gary King decided he was justified in using deadly force.

Deputy Dustin Walters pulled Mack over for a traffic stop and learned that there was an active warrant for his arrest.

Mack resisted arrest, pointed an electric device similar to a handgun at Deputy Walters, and grabbed him.
