Hugo, Ore. – Multiple agencies responded to a single vehicle rollover crash in the 300 block of Oxyoke Road in Hugo just before 6:00 Monday evening.
Rural-Metro Fire said the vehicle, which also struck a power pole, was found in a ditch with the driver still inside. The woman was not using her seat belt at the time of the accident. She was apparently tossed around the inside of the vehicle during the crash and was found wedged along the passenger seat floorboard.
Firefighters said they used the jaws-of-life to remove the roof and free the woman. She was transported to the hospital due to the seriousness of her injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
