Talent, Ore. — A woman is in the hospital after a car drove through her home.

The call came in just after 4:00 this evening of an explosion. However, it turned out to be a car in to a house.

The Resident Manager of the park, Doyle Cornwell, heard the crash from a couple blocks away.

“We heard the car go by very fast and then a little while later we heard this noise — this bang. My wife said, ‘Sounds like somebody hit something’,” recounted Cornwell.

Police say the male driver was driving through the cul-de-sac when he experienced possible medical issues and drove straight in to the house.

He did strike the woman that was sitting inside and she was taken to Rogue Regional Medical Center. Her injuries are not known at this point.

Police will interview the driver to determine exactly what happened.
