Woman involved in fatal hit and run out on bail

Grants Pass, Ore. – A driver who was allegedly under the influence of intoxicants when she was involved in a fatal crash has bailed out of the Josephine County Jail.

Josephine County Court Officials said 28-year-old Lindsey Danielle Johnson was arrested for following a crash Monday night on Interstate 5 near milepost 59.

That crash ended up killing 62-year-old Glendale resident Kim Parsley and seriously injuring his passenger, 18-year-old Ashlan Parsley, according to police.

Oregon State Police said Johnson fled the scene after the collision. She was located a short time later after she was pulled over for an equipment violation.

Johnson is scheduled to appear in court on March 23rd at 1 :00 p.m. to face charges related to the crash, including DUII, manslaughter, assault, reckless driving and failure to perform the duties of a driver.
