The Rogue Valley YMCA is about to reopen its pool.
After the flooding reached the electrical room, the pool facility had to be drained and replaced, shutting swimming down for the summer.
“It broke my heart when the kids would come in with their towel and their swimsuits and they’re ready to swim. We’re almost open,” Brad Russell said.
It will take two days to fill and heat the pool before the fun returns.
If all goes swimmingly, the pool will open this coming Monday, but be sure to check the YMCA website and social media for any possible delays.
