Teen involved in standoff sentenced

Medford, Ore. — A teen facing robbery, theft, and drug charges received his sentence on Tuesday.

18-year-old Jesse Howe and 19-year-old Nicholas Edwards are accused of robbing people of 3 pounds of marijuana at a vacant home on Grand Avenue in Medford on January 12th, 2016. The incident sparked a 2.5 hour long standoff when the suspects refused to come out of a home. (Read the full story)

Howe pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery on Monday. He faces 70 months in the Oregon Department of Corrections and 3 years of post-prison supervision.
