Malheur County, Ore. — Crews are continuing to fight a wildfire burning in Eastern Oregon that has spread to over 20,000 acres.
Fire crews say the Owyhee Canyon Fire is located about 40 miles southwest of Jordan Valley.
Firefighters are targeting the blaze with crews on the ground and in the air. According to the Bureau of Land Management, it didn’t grow over night.
The fire is now 50% contained.
