Ashland man in court, accused of drugging and raping woman

Medford, Ore. – Sean Geoffrey Myers pleaded not guilty in a Jackson County courtroom on Wednesday. He’s facing multiple charges, including sodomy in the first degree, burglary in the first degree, and causing another person to ingest a controlled substance.

The charges stem from an incident on March 10, 2015, when police say Myers broke into a woman’s house, and drugged her with ambien. Police say he then sexually assaulted her, and took pictures of her while she was naked.

Myers was arrested in early September. He’s being held without bail in the Jackson County Jail. Myers is expected to be in court again on September 28th at 4 PM for a pre-trial conference.
