Pasadena, Texas — (KPRC) A 5-year-old girl remained in the hospital Wednesday, recovering from injuries sustained after getting stuck inside an operating washing machine Tuesday night in Pasadena, Texas.
While the young girl is expected to make a full recovery, the situation inside the laundromat became very chaotic when the girl was discovered to be trapped.
Alerted by another child that the young girl had become stuck, frantic customers flooded 911 desperate for help.
“We need an ambulance. We have a little girl here, she was stuck inside a washer and it was on, but we got her out,” one caller told a dispatcher.
Police have said that no charges are expected to be filed in this incident.
