Wilderville, Ore.- Oregon State Police are investigating a shooting that happened at a home in Wilderville Sunday afternoon.
According to investigators, Oregon State Police troopers and Josephine County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a shooting on Wilderville Lane at approximately 3 p.m. Sunday. When they arrived, they found Rudy Perez, 50, shot multiple times.
Investigators are not releasing details of the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
Perez was initially taken to Three Rivers Hospital for treatment, before being transferred to River Bend Hospital in Springfield.
No arrests have been made in the shooting and troopers are continuing to investigate. This is a developing story, check back with NBC5 News for updates.
