Medford man who was beaten not satisfied with sentencing

Medford, Ore.– Ronn Graham who was brutally beaten back in June said Justice hasn’t been fully served for him.
After he was jumped by two men at Union park a judge sentenced one of them men to probation Tuesday.
But Graham finally got the chance to let the convicted attacker, Eric Ramirez know how much of a negative impact the beating has had on his life.

“I had so much planned for this summer but now I have so much to deal with emotionally just to get back to where I was,” Graham said to Ramirez.

But Graham said it was a big moment for him because he was not notified that Ramirez was released from jail early until he ran into him on the street last month, a very scary moment for Graham.
Ramirez was released early because of a plea deal.
But graham says he’s not satisfied with the outcome sot
“The whole process has made me angry and that’s why I followed through with going through with the re sentencing hearing. Overall I don’t agree as a victim of assault like that you know, you’d hope that somebody would be given a stricter sentence.”

Jackson County District Attorney Beth Heckert said Graham was not notified about the plea deal because of a clerical error.

Eddie Ramirez was also involved with the beating that happened at Union Park.
He is also expected to be sentenced this year.
Graham said all he can do now is try to move on.
