Todd Kepple made his announcement at a press conference Tuesday afternoon.

Kepple will face Republican nominee Dennis Linthicum on the November ballot for the District 28 senate seat.

Kepple noted that it would not be a traditional campaign…

“What we’re here to do is to provide voters with two choices of conservative models.”

Kepple and Linthicum are vying for the senate seat currently held by Doug Whitsett, who is not seeking another term in office.

Lake County resident Michael Stettler says he’ll collect signatures to place his name on the November ballot as a non-affiliated candidate for senate.
