Rogue River man arrested after firing gun inside home

michael tyermanRogue River, Ore. — A Rogue River man is in jail after he allegedly fired a gun in his home with family members inside.

Rogue River Police say 32-year-old Michael Tyerman was armed with a shotgun and pistol at the Parkview Mobile Estates Thursday night.

After putting the pistol in his mouth Tyerman fired a round through a window. No one was injured.

After Oregon State Police and Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies arrived on scene Tyerman surrendered and was taken into custody.

Tyerman is facing several charges including harassment, domestic violence and criminal mischief two.
