Orlando, Calif. (NBC News) — Crews continued their search Wednesday morning for a toddler that was dragged by an alligator into a lake at a Walt Disney World resort.
According to authorities the 2-year-old was wading in about one foot of water in the Seven Seas Lagoon when the gator grabbed him around 9:30 Tuesday night.
His father tried to grab the child from the gator, but was unsuccessful.
About 50 people, including marine units, are involved in the search.
So far four alligators have been caught and euthanized.
