Armed robbery in Ashland

0226 armed robbery gunAshland, Ore. — Ashland officers are looking for a suspect they say robbed a man while he was walking away from his business.

The Ashland Police Department said at about 1:30 Friday afternoon, a local business owner reported he was robbed on the 300 block of Hersey Street in Ashland.

Police say the suspect displayed a gray handgun and fled the area with an unknown amount of money.

The suspect is described as a taller, middle-aged white man between 45 and 50 years old. He was clean shaven, average to stocky build, with short black hair. He was also wearing black leather boots, with a green camouflage jacket and pants.
