Rogue River, Ore. — More than 60 grams of suspected methamphetamine is off the streets of Rogue River tonight.
Officers said they found the drugs when they took Destany Marie Reynolds into custody over the weekend.
Around 10:00 Saturday morning, Rogue River police tried to stop a blue pickup truck on the 1300 block of East Evans Creek Road. They say the car veered into a driveway, and the driver, 35-year-old William Smail, jumped out of the vehicle and ran. Reynolds, a passenger in the pickup truck, was taken into custody on warrants and charged with possession of meth, heroin, and giving false information to police.
Police said Smail is still on the run.
