Five people displaced by Klamath Falls house fire

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – A burning candle has been identified as the most likely cause of a house fire Thursday afternoon in Klamath Falls.

The fire burned a home on Douglas Avenue in the Stewart Lenox area.

Five people were displaced as a result of the fire.

Two cats and a pet ferret died in the fire.

Investigators estimate the fire caused over $60,000 in damage to the home and its contents.
