Hearts With a Mission preps for benefit run

homeless 2 hopeful posterMedford, Ore. — Hearts With a Mission is calling all superheros to take part in an annual benefit run for the organization. The Allcare Health Homeless 2 Hopeful Benefit Run is taking place on Saturday, at the Jackson County Expo.

One hundred percent of the proceeds goes to Hearts With a Mission, and homeless youth in the Rogue Valley. Participants are encouraged to dress like superheros, and bring the whole family!

“It gives you a chance to explain to your kids just what the runs about,” Kevin Lamson said, Executive Director of the organization. “By them being a hero, it actually helps a lot of the kids right here in our own community.”

The event includes the Hearts and Heroes One Mile Fun Run, as well as timed 5K and 10K runs. For more information, click here.
