Latah County, Idaho – An Idaho driver claimed she hit a deer because she was distracted by a sasquatch.

According to the Moscow-Pullman Daily News, a 50-year-old Tensed, Idaho woman was driving on Highway 95 Wednesday when she claims to have glimpsed a sasquatch chasing a deer on the side of the road near Potlatch.

The woman told police she checked her mirrors to take a second look at the “shaggy” object when a deer ran in front of her and collided with her Subaru Forester.

She arrived in Moscow the next day to make an official report to police.

A deputy followed the woman to the scene of the crash, but he couldn’t find any evidence of a “bigfoot.”
