Jackson County, Ore. — Jackson County voters will have a say this November about placing a tax on marijuana sales.
After a public hearing Wednesday morning, the Jackson County Commissioners voted to put a 3% tax on recreational sales on the November ballot.
Last year, the commissioners repealed a tax because it contradicted state law.
Recreational marijuana is already taxed 25% with some of those proceeds benefiting the county.
