Medford, Ore., — This afternoon members of the local bar association heard from Jackson County Circuit Court Judges during their annual meeting.
The State of the Court Address gives bar members an idea of what’s happening in the courts.
Each judge can give updates on what they’re working on, and things they feel are important to share.
“In addition to working on individual cases, this is a legal community where we’re all working together, and it’s important to know what is of value to the court.” said Eric Mitton, President of the Jackson County Bar Association.
Presiding Judge Tim Gerking said Jackson County judges manage huge case loads, but commended his fellow judges for doing so well with what they have.
