Klamath Falls man accused of stealing vehicle at gunpoint

0419 Walker mugKlamath Falls, Ore. — A Klamath Falls man is in jail, accused of stealing a pickup truck at gunpoint.

Charges against 30-year old Leif walker include first-degree robbery, menacing, and unlawful use of a weapon.

Police say walker held a handgun to a man’s head, and threatened to shoot him if a woman didn’t hand over the keys to her truck.

Walker is also accused of taking the victim’s cell phones so they couldn’t call for help. Police say walker also had methamphetamine in his possession when he was arrested early Tuesday morning.
