Medford, Ore., — A local high school student received a prestigious scholarship towards his college tuition.
Jack Boisen is a senior at Cascade Christian High School and is one of out 85 students across the country to win the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship
Boisen says he wasn’t even planning to apply, he got the application in just minutes before the midnight deadline.
“It was a last second, I might as well try – but all the work I’ve put in and the work effort and diligence I’ve done, while not perfect. it’s paid off.
The scholarship provides Jack with $40,000 annually to use towards tuition, studying abroad and more.
He will be attending the University of Oregon in the fall.
