ASaudi Arabian man has pled guilty to four charges after police say he drove into two Ashland police cars, then caused a disturbance on a plane.
Police say 19 year-old Yazeed Abunayyan was driving erratically on Siskiyou Blvd, trying to run over pedestrians back in February.
Just a few days later, the man caused a flight to turn around and land, after he began yelling profanities and swinging his fists at the flight attendant.
Abunayyan’s defense attorney says a change in medication caused the man to act out.
Relatives say he suffers from schizophrenia.
Abunayyan has been sentenced 18 months of unsupervised probation, as well as a $1,000 fine.
