Monday marks the first day of Arbor week here in Oregon.
54 Oregon cities will be recognized as “Tree City USA” communities– Including many here in the Rogue Valley. Medford, Ashland, Talent, Eagle Point, and Klamath Falls will all be recognized.
“Tree City USA” is a program that recognizes cities that develop programs to plant and care for trees, sponsored by the Oregon Department of Forestry.
