DUII arrests higher than average over the weekend

Medford, Ore. — The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office reports DUII arrests were higher than average the night of Saturday, March 21st.

They say they arrested four people who were driving while intoxicated and are still investigating one who crashed his car and was sent to the hospital.

Two of those four arrests resulted in car crashes.

Deputies say they have extra patrols on the roads looking for drunk drivers and say spring break could be a factor leading to the high numbers.
