Expect delays on I-5 through September 14th

Medford, Ore. — Drivers can expect delays for one week beginning Saturday as crews work to repair a bridge and box culvert just south of exit 43 on I-5.

Traffic will be condensed to one lane northbound for the next two weekends, as will the southbound lanes next through next week.

Gary Leaming from the Oregon Department of Transportation said, “for commuters going between Medford and Grants Pass, just be aware that during the work week, the southbound side will be a single lane of traffic so expect some delays there, if you know some of the local roads jump over on to that.”

ODOT says drivers should prepare and plan ahead as construction is expected to last through September 14th
