ALa Pine man is arrested, after waging a standoff from inside his mother’s home.
Police were in the area investigating multiple dead dear when28 year old Jacob James Bowling for driving recklessly in the area. Bowling attempted to elude police with theJeep he was riding in for a short distance…then took off on foot andinto what plolice later learned was his mothers home.
Oregon sState Police, Deschutes County Sherriffs’ officials and SWAT responded and make contact with Brown and his mother but police say Bowling would not surrender.but was eventually arrested following the execution of a search warrant.
After obtaining a warrant, police entered the home and took Bowling into custody without further incident. He booked in the Deschutes County Jail on prior felony warrants, reckless driving, and attempt to elude.
