Mulitple arrests following stolen vehicle chase

Card KyrieJosephine County, Ore. — Two people are in jail after deputies say they led them on a chase on Sunday. 

Josephine County Sheriff’s Office says a citizen called 911 after spotting a stolen Jeep Wrangler in Merlin.

Deputies responded and tried to stop the Jeep on Quartz Creek Road towards Hugo Road but the driver took off.

A short time later the Jeep crashed into a tree and three people fled into the woods. Kyrie Maple, Scott Ashbaugh and James Card were all arrested after being found.

 Card is facing several charges including felony elude and reckless driving. Maple had a felony warrant from Jackson County. They’re both in jail.
