Several gun-control measures will be heard in Salem this week. Four bills have been proposed on the issue. They would:
– Increase background check requirements.
– Strengthen restrictions on guns in schools and public buildings.
– And add more training to get a concealed handgun license.
The Senate Judiciary Committee could vote as early as this week. The bills would then head to the full Senate.
