Medford, Ore. — A high speed car chase ends with a man in custody Monday morning.
Medford Police say a red Dodge Neon was stolen while it was warming up in the driveway in the 500 block of Edwards Street.
Police located the vehicle close to 4:00 a.m. and attempted a traffic stop. That’s when police say 32-year-old Travis Shepherd eluded. MPD then discontinued the pursuit.
Oregon State Police spotted the vehicle just after 4:00 a.m. and pursued it. Shepherd eventually crashed the vehicle near Webber and Table Rock Road and fled on foot, but was quickly apprehended. He was lodged for several crimes.
