Police use naloxone for second time

MEDFORD, ORE. — For the second time in just a matter of weeks, Medford Police save the life of a man who had overdosed on drugs.

Medford Police say they responded to the 500 block of North Riverside Aveune this weekend for a reported overdose.

A responding officer administered naloxone, a nasal spray, which can help reverse the effects of an opioid overdose.

MPD began stocking the medication in their patrol cars in January.

This is the second time they have used it.
