MEDFORD, Ore. — A fan-favorite pop-up brunch spot in Medford is branching out on its own and opening up a new restaurant.
You might know Over Easy as the weekend pop-up shop inside the Downtown Market. But in just a few months, they’ll have a place to call their own.
The Downtown Market is moving to a new location in May, so the owners of Over Easy said it was the perfect opportunity to start seriously looking for their own spot.
When an old consignment store went up for sale around the corner on Middleford Alley, they knew it was time.
“This has been… it’s just our passion for the last four years, you know,” said Over Easy Owner and Chef Braden Hitt. “And it’s going to be sad leaving Downtown Market and that team. We’re very grateful to them for everything they have provided for us.”
Hitt added, “We’re just doing our own thing and they’re gonna do their own thing, and we’re gonna support each other while we do it.”
If you’re a brunch lover, don’t worry. They’ll be serving up food until April 21st in the Downtown Market.
They hope to have their new location open and running in May.
