(NBC News) A second health care worker has tested positive for Ebola at the Texas hospital that treated victim Thomas Eric Duncan.

Officials will not release the name of the patient, but do say she was a part of a medical team that included critical care nurse Nina Pham, who was also infected while treating Duncan.

The women are a part of a group of 77 health care specialists who had contact with Duncan identified by the Centers for Disease Control.

All are being monitored for any symptoms of the disease.

The CDC and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital are still working to determine how the virus spread.

“We are looking at every element of our personal protective equipment, our infection control inside the hospital,” says Dr. Daniel Varga. “We don’t have an answer for this right now, but we are looking at every possible angle around this.”
