‘Tutu Todd’s 10 Miler’ takes off from Lithia Park

TODD RUN PICAshland, Ore. — People of all ages wore their best tutu’s, fairy wings, and running shoes in honor of Ashland runner Todd Ragsdale.

The group gathered in Lithia Park at 9 AM Saturday morning, for a 10 mile run honoring avid runner Todd Ragsdale.

Race Director Peter Wickliffe said he wanted to honor their friend in a unique way and the first annual ‘Tutu Todd’s 10 Miler’ fit the bill.

“We’ve been doing a lot of honoring of Todd through other runs thanks to the whole Southern Oregon running community, but I wanted one that had his name and his spirit attached to it,” Wickliffe said.

Ragsdale went missing after he went for a run in in late January. His body was found two days later with the help of multiple search and rescue crews and over 100 volunteers.

Just this past week, a toxicology report came back giving little to no details. Ragsdale’s death has been classified as, “undetermined natural causes.”
