Oso, Wash. — (KING) Video released Tuesday shows the dramatic moment a helicopter rescue team rescues a four year old boy from the devastating mudslides in Washington State.
Shortly after the disaster Saturday, the helicopter rescue team launched to look for survivors.
It wasn’t long before they discovered four year old Jacob.
Rescuers quickly determined that they could hover low enough to rescue the little boy who was stuck in the mud.
According to a family friend who spoke with Jacob, the four year old was on the second floor of the home while his father, two sisters and a half-brother were downstairs.
Jacob is doing well and is with his mother who was at work at the time of the mudslide.
The rest of the people in the home are still among the missing.
