An hour long meeting at Wolf Creek Park drew nearly 100 people Thursday night.
Representatives from the Oregon Department of Forestry, Wolf Creek Fire, Josephine County Sheriff’s department, and state Fire Marshals were there to address them.
They spoke about each of the fires affecting the Douglas and Josephine County line.
Assuring residents that they’re doing whatever it takes to battle the fires and said they’re making good progress.
Sstill residents have their concerns.
“Losing my home.. we just moved here. I’m concerned about my daughter too we bought a ventilator but she seems to be doing just fine,” says Douglas Clark, a nearby resident.
Many of these residents are under a level two evacuation,that means they have to be ready to leave at any time.
Earlier today some residents forced to evacuate got to go home. they live on Reuben, Mt. Reuben, andMcCulloughCreek roads.
Fire crews say it’s still important to be ready to evacuate because conditions could change at any moment.
