Klamath Falls, Ore. — A Klamath County man is in jail Monday, accused of assaulting a man with an ax.
Charges against 39-year-old Tony Jackson Krank include attempted murder, and first-degree assault.
Klamath County Sheriff’s deputies say the incident happened at a Chiloquin area home at around 3:00 Sunday afternoon. Krank is accused of hitting the victim in the arm with an ax, then beating his head with a large piece of wood.
The victim was treated at Sky Lakes Medical Center, and was later released.
