Medford, Ore., — Medford’s airport is expanding, although you may never step foot in the new building.
The new Snow Removal Equipment Building will house the airport’s winter equipment, which has been kept outside.
Airport staff says keeping the equipment in the building will help expedite clearing snow when it does fall.
“Well it’s exciting for us. It’s almost 10 times larger than our past building, it gives us a chance to consolidate and work more effectively, and make us a more efficient and safe airport.”
And despite the name, the building will house other equipment as well.
